A few days ago I received a message from a very young woman, a teenager who is passionate about Astrology. I gave her a session about her Natal Chart a few months ago. She was enthusiast about how much it helped her understand herself, her hidden resources and her areas of improvement. So she started researching about Astrology on the web, in order to deepen it.
Unfortunately, she found something that was so much misleading, but fortunately she contacted me immediately to ask my opinion.
How one can write, in a website dedicated to teenagers (average 14-16 years old), that “if you are a female, this (aspect) in your natal chart means that you have to use sex and be manipulative in order to get what you want”?
And I prefer not to share more than this.
How can people be so ignorant in terms of Astrology and pretend to be experts (because that aspect for sure doesn't mean what they wrote), giving this kind of “directions”? But above all, how this people can be so ignorant in terms of psychology, education, communication, and manage a website dedicated to teenagers who wants to “deepen” Astrology?
A serious Astrologer is not just someone with a background and training in Astrology and Astronomy (yes, believe it or not). A serious Astrologer is someone who has a deep knowledge of the human structure, psychology, and soul. An individual who applies Astrology needs a deep knowledge of science, psychology and symbology, and above all a deep sense of respect for anybody who approaches them.
For those who know me, my passion for the language of symbols and archetypes is not a mystery. Astrology is a discipline I love and respect so much that I have been studying, deepening, and applying it since I was a teenager. It’s a way to look into our soul and the Universe, “connecting the dots” to see a complete picture of our mission on Earth.
The phrase “That which is below is like that which is above and that which is above is like that which is below to do the miracle of one only thing” (from the Emerald Tablet, attributed to Hermes Trismegistus and translated in English by Isaac Newton) expresses the concept of Microcosm and Macrocosm: the smaller systems – particularly the human structure – are miniature versions of the larger Universe. So the “picture” of the sky surrounding us at the moment of our birth, according to the concept of synchronicity expressed by C. G. Jung (Psychiatrist and Psychoanalyst who founded Analytic Psychology), is like a “mirror” of our human potential.
Independently from your age, if you are looking for information about Astrology, the Tarot, and everything else related to the fascinating world of the symbolic correspondences between your inner cosmos, life and the Universe, beware the charlatans, use discernment, and if you have doubts, contact me. Qualche giorno fa ho ricevuto un messaggio da una donna molto giovane, un'adolescente appassionata di Astrologia. Le avevo dedicato una sessione sul suo Tema Natale alcuni mesi fa. Era entusiasta di quanto la sessione l'aveva aiutata a capire se stessa, le sue risorse nascoste e le sue aree di miglioramento. Così ha iniziato a fare ricerche sull'Astrologia sul web, al fine di approfondirla.
Purtroppo ha trovato qualcosa che era totalmente fuorviante, ma fortunatamente mi ha contattata subito per chiedere la mia opinione.
Come si può scrivere, in un sito web dedicato agli adolescenti (14-16 anni), che "se sei una donna questo (aspetto) nella tua Carta Natale significa che devi usare il sesso ed essere manipolativa per ottenere ciò tu vuoi"?
E preferisco non condividere più di così.
Come possono le persone essere così ignoranti in termini di Astrologia e fingere di essere esperte (perché quell'aspetto di sicuro non significa ciò che hanno scritto), dando questo tipo di "indicazioni"? Ma soprattutto, come può questo gente essere così ignorante in fatto di psicologia, educazione, comunicazione, e gestire un sito web dedicato agli adolescenti che vogliono “approfondire” l'Astrologia?
Chi si occupa seriamente di Astrologia non è solo qualcuno con un background e una formazione in Astrologia e Astronomia (sì, che ci crediate o no). É qualcuno che ha una profonda conoscenza della struttura, della psicologia e dell'animo umani.Le persone che applicano l'Astrologia hanno bisogno di una profonda conoscenza della scienza, della psicologia e della simbologia, e soprattutto di un profondo senso di rispetto per chiunque si avvicini loro.
Per chi mi conosce, la mia passione per il linguaggio dei simboli e degli archetipi non è un mistero. L'Astrologia è una disciplina che amo e rispetto così tanto che l'ho studiata, approfondita e applicata da quando ero adolescente. È un modo per guardare nella nostra anima e nell'Universo, "collegando i punti" per vedere un quadro completo della nostra missione sulla Terra.
La frase "Ciò che è in basso è come ciò che è in alto e ciò che è in alto è come ciò che è in basso per fare il miracolo di una sola cosa" (dalla Tavola di Smeraldo, attribuita a Hermes Trismegistus e tradotta in inglese da Isaac Newton ) esprime il concetto di Microcosmo e Macrocosmo: i sistemi più piccoli - in particolare la struttura umana - sono versioni in miniatura dell'Universo più grande. Quindi il “quadro” del cielo che ci circonda al momento della nostra nascita, secondo il concetto di sincronicità espresso da C. G. Jung (Psichiatra e Psicoanalista fondatore della Psicologia Analitica), è come uno “specchio” del nostro potenziale umano.
Indipendentemente dalla vostra età, se state cercando informazioni sull'Astrologia, il Tarot (comunemente definito "Tarocchi") e tutto ciò che riguarda l'affascinante mondo delle corrispondenze simboliche tra il vostro cosmo interiore, la vita e l'Universo, fate attenzione ai ciarlatani, usate il discernimento e, se avete dubbi, contattatemi. Sarò felice di chiarire i dubbi e aiutarvi a trovare un percorso sicuro verso la conoscenza del vostro "Sé" e della vostra missione.
