Italian below/Italiano in fondo: This coming Full Moon on the Sagittarius-Gemini axis will come with a penumbral lunar eclipse. What does it mean and what will it bring to us? Long time ago, Dragons were blamed for “eating the Moon” (or the Sun) during an eclipse. Today we know that a total lunar eclipse happens 1) when the moon is full, meaning that the Moon and the Sun are opposite, watched from Earth, and so the Earth is “in the middle”; 2) when the Moon, Sun and Earth are perfectly aligned, so that Earth blocks the Sun’s light from reaching the Moon surface.
A penumbral lunar eclipse occurs when the Sun, Earth, and the Moon are imperfectly aligned, so Earth blocks only some of the Sun's light from directly reaching the Moon's surface and covers all or part of the Moon with the outer part of its shadow, aka the penumbra.
The Sagittarius-Gemini axis represents communication, connections, expansion and knowledge.
From a symbolic point of view this eclipse, forming certain challenging aspect with some of the planets, and combined with other aspects, is an invitation to suspend our judgment and embrace respect.
It invites us to remember that in this very moment it would be wise to suspend discussions about truths and lies, or about errors and corrections. It is a good moment to open our mind to embrace a broader vision and remember that when we look at anything we get only a partial vision, that is relative to our point of view.
It is an invitation to avoid to jump to conclusions and keep observing and searching for information instead, remembering that information is usually partial and incomplete, too.
It’s a moment in which we can make an effort to step out of our comfort zone and, instead of remaining attached to our beliefs and truths, keep working to go beyond, opening our mind to a deeper understanding of what “respect”, “knowledge” and “communication” mean.

Eclissi Penumbrale in arrivo*
Questa Luna Piena ormai prossima sull’asse Sagittario-Gemelli arriverà con un'eclissi lunare penumbrale. Cosa significa, e cosa ci porterà?
Molto tempo fa, si diceva che fossero i Draghi a "mangiare la Luna" (o il Sole, durante un'eclissi solare). Oggi sappiamo che un'eclissi lunare totale accade 1) quando la Luna è piena, ovvero quando la Luna e il Sole sono opposti, osservati dalla Terra, e quindi la Terra si trova "nel mezzo"; 2) quando Luna, Sole e Terra sono perfettamente allineati, in modo che la Terra impedisce alla luce del Sole di raggiungere la superficie della Luna.
Un'eclissi lunare penumbrale si verifica quando il Sole, la Terra e la Luna sono allineati in modo imperfetto, quindi la Terra impedisce solo parzialmente alla luce del Sole di raggiungere la superficie della Luna, e copre tutta o parte della Luna con la parte esterna della sua ombra, detta appunto penombra.
L’asse Sagittario-Gemelli rappresenta la comunicazione, le connessioni, l’espansione e conoscenza.
Da un punto di vista simbolico questa eclissi, formando alcuni aspetti impegnativi con alcuni dei pianeti e combinata con altri aspetti altrettanto impegnativi, è un invito a sospendere il nostro giudizio e ad abbracciare il rispetto. Ci invita a ricordare che in questo preciso momento sarebbe saggio sospendere le discussioni su verità e bugie, o su errori e correzioni. È un buon momento per aprire la nostra mente, abbracciare una visione più ampia e ricordare che quando guardiamo qualcosa otteniamo solo una visione parziale, che è relativa al nostro punto di vista. È un invito a evitare di saltare alle conclusioni e continuare a cercare informazioni, ricordando che anche le informazioni sono generalmente parziali e incomplete. È un momento in cui possiamo fare uno sforzo per uscire dalla nostra zona di comfort e, invece di rimanere attaccati alle nostre credenze e verità, lavorare per andare oltre, aprendo la nostra mente a una comprensione più profonda di ciò che significa "rispetto", "conoscenza" e "comunicazione".
