A reminder from the Moon (EN - IT)

(Italian below/Italiano in fondo)

Moon Phases

I love the way the Sky seems to reflect what happens on Earth.

I started following the call of Astrology when I was 13 years old. My father gifted my mother with a spectacular book about Astrology, which she found too complicated. But for me, it looked like something I already knew. So, beside my interest for Astronomy, I started cultivating the knowledge of Astrology, this fascinating symbolic language connecting the human soul to celestial events from an anthropocentric perspective.

I am fascinated by the way that the Sky, in the last 4 months, has been reminding us to be cautious and use our time mostly to improve our self-knowledge and our relationship with ourselves and the surrounding world by focusing on the “inside”. It sounds like a Cosmic invitation, and the synchronicity with a kind of “global lockdown” is something we cannot deny.

On Sunday July 5 we will have a Full Moon with a Lunar Eclipse, which will be the last of this Spring/Summer Cycle. This will put the emphasis, once more, on the “inner work” instead of achievements regarding the outside world. The axis Cancer/Capricorn speaks of roots and achievements, but the Eclipse would keep our focus within.

We are called to reflect on how the results and achievements we are willing to get in the future depend on the “roots” made of the intentions, steps and actions we are setting and taking right now.

We are invited to take responsibility for the projects we want to feed, remembering that it’s time to stop hiding our inner conflicts. It’s time to acknowledge the need for a deep change in our habits in order to stop feeding unconscious and unwanted conflictual patterns: we need to bring them to light in order to start building something more functional, to become able to walk on a path that is more congruent with what we would like to achieve in terms of easiness and sustainability. Otherwise the inner conflicts “at the roots” of our actions will keep interfering with our achievements and will make every step heavier. It takes a lot of energy to feed inner conflicts, you know?

It’s a good time to start cultivate a deeper level of sincerity and congruence in order to find a new lifestyle, more sustainable and much lighter. Let the work continue.
